So what happened on 6/06/1906 or 6/06/1806 or 6/06/1706 or 6/06/1606, personally, if you were going to worry about a date it should have been November 7, 2000. It is just going to be another day, it may be uneasy for some, but another day is all it is.

How anyone with half a brain (no Trav you don't make the cut but GL just might) could "look at the news" and actually think that what they see represents what the majority of any group is up to, is beyond me.

The news, most notably television news, is not about accurate commentary on life on this planet. It is about highlighting the spectacular and encouraging the rubes who watch it to think that what they see is some sort of representation of normalcy.

Toss in the over-the-top partisan truth-killers like Faux news with their incessant hammering of their daily talking points and it's a wonder anyone has any idea of what's really going on.

Just because you see some idiots on the tube "rioting" does not give you any insight into what those 99.9% others do or feel. It just shows you what the loud and violent minority are doing at the very moment that the cameras are there.

Perhaps something less personal for you than pond scum would be appropriate and less indicative of the simplicity of the gene pool you draw upon.
